Reference standards for heat and thermochemical treatments
All treatments carried out by Tecma comply with the main technical standards in the sector, which define the operating methods and quality requirements to be respected.
- Cementation: UNI 5381:1999
- Carbonitriding: UNI 5479:1999
- Nitriding: UNI 5478:1999 and SAE AMS 2759/10A-2006
- Ferritic Nitrocarburization: UNI 10931:2001
- Tempering, Annealing, Normalizing and Hardening: UNI 10990:2002
By complying with these regulations, it is possible to ensure that each process meets the required technical parameters and that the treated components maintain the expected performance during operation.
Quality controls and hardness tests
In addition to standardized procedures, Tecma Srl regularly performs hardness tests to verify the materials' compliance with design requirements. Measurements are performed according to the following standards:
